ZaneRay Take your kids to work day!

We designed a web site called Fastastic Cycles! We learned about how to build new web sites and what our moms and dads do at work. Some of us learned about writing, others learned about javascript html programming, some of us learned about taking photographs and to put them on a web site, and others learned about design.

The requirement by the client was that we had to have the site done by noon or he wouldn't pay us. The payment was in pizza and pop so we had to work really fast!

We learned about the process of building a site:

1) We talked with the client to see what they wanted on their web site.

2) We asked several questions about what the site needed to do and what they wanted in it.

3) We looked at other bicycle sites on the internet to see what worked well and what we needed to include.

4) We broke out into groups and each group learned something different.

5) We went to the client's bike shop and took pictures of bikes and the owners.

6) We shared information and coordinated between teams to get the work done.

7) We all did our part and created a new web site for the client.
