The ZaneRay Group is proud to announce we recently joined The Conservation Alliance to further our support of the preservation of open lands. The Conservation Alliance mission is to "engage businesses to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values". While we can support organizations on our own, working with a large group of like-minded companies allows our dollars to go a lot further.
The Conservation Alliance distributed $1.8 million in grants in 2017 to grassroots conservation organizations throughout North America. As a member, ZaneRay is able to nominate conservation projects for funding and also vote for qualifying projects. "The collective group gives us the ability to have a bigger impact towards conservation projects we believe in", said Penny Porterfield, VP Operations and Business Development for ZaneRay. "Open space and access to public lands is important to our business and community and the Conservation Alliance is a important vehicle to support these crucial efforts", commented Porterfield.
ZaneRay is able to submit 4 conservation projects per year and we welcome organizations to contact us for consideration. Read the funding criteria on the Conservation Alliance website and if your project qualifies, please email your request to ZaneRay: info[at]zaneray.com.
