ZaneRay delivers a Fresh Look for Filson

The ZaneRay Interface team worked directly with Filson to design and build a new look for the heritage brand. The redesigned includes a revised header, footer and overall style, new layout and functionality for the home page, and improvements for browsing on touch devices. The result was cleaner presentation of product and content in minimal time within their deadline for the holiday shopping season.

The redesign leveraged the power of existing clean HTML markup and modern CSS. The majority of the structure of the site was retained with the bulk of the changes handled in the stylesheets. Webfonts were used in place of images and sprites on the old site to give copy and headlines a bold and distinct look.

The Filson homepage was rebuilt with a custom full width slideshow that is swipe friendly for touch devices. It has large cleaner product photos. The home page also integrates nicely with Filson's Wordpress driven 'Filson Life' section to give the community driven section of their site more exposure.
