This experience and attention to quality solutions has led them to create their own line of products in the form of the Notch brand. With safety at the core of what they do, Sherrilltree offers hands-on training, educational videos and holds regional events focused on product demonstrations and industry innovations.
ZaneRay was selected by Sherrilltree to modernize their branding in advance of designing a new website for the company. The effort included updating their logo, styles and visual language, and included refining the voice and positioning of the brand. The new website design adopted the new branding that carried over to a new e-commerce platform, BigCommerce.
ZaneRay leveraged an optimized BigCommerce theme designed to accommodate a customized user interface while still allowing for base theme updates without affecting the customized code. The theme is part of several foundational technologies established for the Vertical Systems Group, the parent company of the brand. Some of these solutions include using ShoGun for CMS content, Nextopia for enhanced product filtering and the “Chain & Bar Finder”, designed to locate parts for specific chainsaws, and Jasper PIM to manage all VSG product data. Other ZaneRay sites under the VSG umbrella and employing this tech stack include TreeStuff, Notch, Bishop Co, Sterling Ropes, and others to come.
