Bishop Company is one of three arborists retailers under the umbrella of the Vertical Supply Group, a longtime supplier of arborist equipment that launched their first e-commerce store in 1996. In the early ’70s, Bishop Co. expanded its product offering, which was originally focused on gardening tools, to include arborist tools and equipment.
Bishop Co. was acquired by Vertical Systems Group in 2019 and remains a leading supplier of equipment for the landscaping and arborist service industry. Their customers include a variety of service organizations that include arborist companies, landscapers, golf course landscapers, municipal landscape companies, and power equipment retailers. The company’s administrative, sales and warehouse teams are based in Whittier, CA.
